🎉 Wow! We are delighted to announce our successful €1m seed funding round today! With the support of our new main investor Earlybird Venture Capital, we can realize our vision of halving food waste in the next 5 years.
In Germany alone, 3 million tons of fresh food have to be disposed of every year due to poor planning – an unimaginable amount, making the reduction of food waste one of the greatest challenges of our generation. With PlanerAI, we have developed an AI-based platform that tackles precisely this problem through better planning. This has already enabled us to generate 30% less food waste for our current customers and even increase sales at the same time.
