Three years ago, the Förch bakery decided to optimize its demand planning with our software. The decision was not made by chance: AIPERIA is exactly right with the AI solution developed specifically to increase efficiency and accuracy in bakeries. Our AI creates forecasts for the next two weeks based on all sales data, the weather, public holidays and over 150 factors. This means that on a hot summer’s day, when fewer poppy seed snails are sold because customers prefer a refreshing ice cream, the AI adjusts the order quantity accordingly.
Thanks to AIPERIA’s AI, the Förch bakery is able to produce and deliver the exact quantities of its baked goods with a precision that would otherwise require two to three additional full-time employees. In addition to its own stores, the bakery also supplies over 20 Aldi stores – a logistical challenge that is made considerably easier by our AI. Louis Füger, who is responsible for the 17 branches of the Förch bakery, and Felix Gosch, master baker and production manager, explain it like this: “Artificial intelligence takes a lot of work off our hands. It not only saves us resources, but also reduces returns.”
